This year marks the first ever Nevada Women’s Film Festival. I worked with some amazing and dedicated women to make this happen and I’m excited for the event this Saturday, March 14, 2015. Take a look at the program that includes the schedule above.

What I learned:

1. Everything goes much smoother if you work with people who you enjoy working with and who do what they say that they’re going to do.
2. It’s important to support the people in the same industry as you. It might be tempting to become competitive but in the end it doesn’t help anyone (including yourself).
3. Only agree to do as much as you are able to handle. This goes back to #1. People who don’t understand this end up saying that they’ll do much more than they are able and then it turns into an unpleasant experience.
